I’m working to turn my childhood dream into reality by embarking on a solo, non-stop journey around the globe. Through Sailing in Hope, I want to show that while chronic illness can derail your plans, it doesn’t have to erase your dreams—it can force you to reshape them.

 It started when I was just 15. It was the kind of thing you want to pretend wasn’t happening. I thought if I ignored it-it would go away. But it didn’t.
