This survey is being conducted out of interest for the IBD community to better understand the experiences of those living with the condition. This survey was inspired by this diagram created by Beatriz Gros, which illustrates the multidimensional aspects of Inflammatory Bowel Disease. Her work highlights how IBD affects not just physical health, but also emotional well-being, social life, work, and financial stability. Seeing this comprehensive view of IBD’s impact made me realize the importance of gathering real-world experiences from the IBD community. Through this survey, I hope to gain insights into how these different aspects influence daily life, helping to raise awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by those living with IBD.
